Paul has over 30 years of experience in the upstream oil and gas industry, in technical lead and management roles across all phases of project development.  Experience includes service with major and independent E&P operating companies, and also major EPC contractors. He has sought out, and worked on, challenging projects in Australia and also intentionally, with extended assignments in the Middle East, North and West Africa, United Kingdom and North America.

The majority of Paul’s career has been working on natural gas developments or supporting natural gas operations, including large natural gas greenfield and brownfield projects.  Aside from process design technical management, Paul also has experience in supporting project business functions in the development of cost estimates and preliminary economic analysis for new opportunities.  He has managed external resources such as engineering contractor teams on larger projects, and interfacing with licensed technology vendors, to ensure engineering design is compliant with performance and integrity requirements, in addition to establishing engineering program budgets and schedules, and provided ongoing oversight.
